Got 100 Black Giants,75 Buff Orpingtons, 25 Light Brahmas. A few have already died. But I believe the rest will be fine.

I`d say no that isn`t normal to lose that many.I`ve never ordered any great amount of chicks.When I did,I got them from a local breeder. Shipping stress is kinda rough on them. They need plenty of heat of course (95*) & some give them sugar or electrolytes in the water to combat shipping stress. One I read,uses a dose of ACV in the water. I hope the rest hang in there for you.

I do have about some buff orpingtons (10),spitzhuping (8), white legern (pair), cochin(4 black,4 white),easter eggers(10), & a mix breed(1) total of 40 birds right now.
